In order to bridge the cultural gap between two languages,translators have to maintain certain translation standard and accordingly applyvarious translation techniques. In the process of translation, he conducted the additionof preface, critical introduction, translator’s introduction, appendix and illustrations atculture level to acquaint the western readers with sufficient culture information,which can serve as the makeup for the culture default.
